Life in Quebec
Quebec is the perfect amalgamation of cosmopolitan life and wilderness, making it an ultimate destination for the urban adventurer. It is Canada’s largest province and is a predominantly French speaking society. It offers a variety of sensational restaurants, historic sites, national parks, beautiful lakes and jagged coastline to explore. With all this and more, who could resist the rustic allure of Quebec?
Parc National de la Gaspésie and Parc National du Bic are equally exquisite destinations for the wild at heart with gorgeous coastlines and offshore islands to explore. The more adventurous can go rafting down the glorious Jacques Cartier Lake in Laurentians Park. Îles de la Madeleine is a string of sand-swept islands with plenty of rust-coloured cliffs and sea coves just waiting to be explored by kayak. Food lovers looking to avoid the bustle of the cities can escape to sleepy Île d’Orléans, an island northeast of Québec City. There are 6 villages on the island, each offering delectable produce sourced from a selection of local farms and orchards.
Montréal and Québec City are perfectly blended metropolises with an air of refinement and frivolity. Montréal is a cuisine capital with a wide selection of restaurants, food markets and patisseries offering an array of delectable delights to sample. It also hosts a variety of festivals and is a perfect city to meander through thanks to its iconic architectural design. Be sure not to miss the regal beauty of Notre-Dame Basilica. Québec City has a beguiling view of St Lawrence River and a rustic charm that will lure any foodie, festival goer or art lover. Be sure to visit the picturesque Le Quartier Petit-Champlain district, the historic La Citadelle as well as the iconic Le Château Frontenac for a dose of art, history and mesmerizing architecture.
How We Can Help
Immigrating to Quebec is slightly different to the rest of Canada as it does not have an Express Entry system or Provincial Nominee Program. Quebec has a specific process that includes acquiring a Quebec Selection Certificate (Certificat de sélection du Québec, or CSQ), which signifies that you have been chosen to settle in Quebec. Once a CSQ has been obtained, you will then have to request permanent residency directly. We are therefore unable to assist with the immigration process; however, we are able to assist with your travel documents that will allow you to explore everything this stunning province has to offer. We can help you navigate your way to Canada!
