Famous Sights

The Grasslands National Park is a wild and majestic stretch of beauty, that spans over 350 square miles, and is home to numerous rare and endangered fauna, including the mighty Bison. Be sure not to miss the jewel that is Prince Albert National Park known for its vast boreal woodlands and the quaint Waskesiu Lake village. Batoche is the historic site where visitors can learn about the Battle of Batoche, which took place during the Northwest Rebellion.

The 3 main cities of Saskatchewan are Saskatoon, Regina and Moose Jaw. Saskatoon is a vibrant city that is home to the Saskatchewan River, perfect for strolls along on its banks. Be sure to meander downtown to take in some local live music. Regina is a modern city filled with culture, art and beautiful green parks, while Moosejaw, also known as “Little Chicago”, is a charming island known for its art-deco buildings, colourful murals and its wild reputation of being a haven for Al Capone during the US Prohibition.
