Express Entry draw #137 just set the record for the most invitations to apply for permanent residency ever issued in a single draw by the Canadian Immigration department. The department shows no signs of slowing down as the qualifying CRS score was lowered to 470 for the draw, allowing a significantly larger number of candidates to make the cut. The number of invitations issued was exactly 1000 more than the first draw of February’s already large number of 3,500 invitations. The next draw at the beginning of March will see a lot more hopeful candidates completing their Express Entry applications as they prepare for a new life in Canada. If you are a skilled foreigner or have a depth of experience in one of Canada’s in demand fields, you may be eligible for express entry.
