Great news! Ontario launched its new regional immigration pilot that aims to shift prospective immigrants' attention to smaller communities within the large, and popular Canadian province.  The participating communities in Ontario who are in need of skilled workers from overseas are Chatham-Kent, Cornwall, and Belleville. The new two-year pilot program forms part of the Ontario Immigrant Nomination Program (OINP) and will allow semi-skilled workers with job offers from employers within these communities to apply to immigrate to Canada and settle in these three, tight-knit and peaceful communities that are far away from the hustle-and-bustle of busy city life.
