Great news! Ontario launched its new regional immigration pilot that aims to shift prospective immigrants’ attention to smaller communities within the large, and popular Canadian province.
The participating communities in Ontario who are in need of skilled workers from overseas are Chatham-Kent, Cornwall, and Belleville. The new two-year pilot program forms part of the Ontario Immigrant Nomination Program (OINP) and will allow semi-skilled workers with job offers from employers within these communities to apply to immigrate to Canada and settle in these three, tight-knit and peaceful communities that are far away from the hustle-and-bustle of busy city life. Find out more details below!

It is also one of the oldest communities in Canada, yet today boasts a modern economy led by forward-thinking companies and major industries such as manufacturing, automotive, high tech, food processing, distribution centers, and call centers. Its numerous parks and recreational facilities make the city an excellent place to raise a family.
Belleville, which literally translates to, “beautiful village” has a stunning natural environment filled with over 500 acres of parklands and a picturesque harbor. You’ll be able to purchase affordable, Victorian-style homes that are only moments away from the city center.
